Adolescent Girls’ & Women’s Health (Gynae Medical Van for Girls)

Adolescence is a critical stage in a girl’s life, bringing significant physical, emotional and social changes. Yet many girls, particularly those from underserved communities, have limited access to accurate health information and appropriate medical care.

Our Adolescent Girls’ Health programme provides accessible healthcare, awareness and counselling with a focus on menstrual health, puberty, nutrition, reproductive health and conditions affecting adolescent girls and women.

Through mobile medical services, health camps and interactive awareness sessions, girls are encouraged to ask questions, understand their bodies and seek medical support without fear or embarrassment. Sessions cover menstrual hygiene, puberty, PCOD awareness and other important aspects of adolescent health.

The programme also helps challenge myths and stigma surrounding menstruation and reproductive health. Girls are encouraged to view healthcare as a right rather than something they should postpone because of social or financial barriers.

Creating awareness today can prevent health complications tomorrow. More importantly, informed girls are better equipped to make decisions about their own health and wellbeing.

The goal is simple: healthier girls, greater confidence and a future where no girl is held back because she lacks access to information or care.
