Bal-Basera children Home ensures that the needs of children are met when they cannot live with their own family, due to unavoidable reasons, definitely. Children may be resident in home for short periods or in the longer term, decided by Child Welfare Committee, with a view to moving on to adulthood and more independent living. It’s a place for children to develop and grow. We seek to provide better outcomes for
everyone and to ensure that individuals are treated with respect and dignity. The children range from 7 years old to 16 years old and all of them attend school. Before and after school hours they are cared by our staff. Even, a member of our staff stays with them in the school too during the school hours.
Bal-Basera children home, a project of TAABAR, established in the year 2015, with a capacity to take-care 25 residents(boys) at a time here, children live maximum up to the age of 18 years, decided by the CWC after assessing the best interest of the child in given circumstances. Bal-Basera Children home works under the Department of Child Rights, Registered under section 41 subsections 1 of Juvenile Justice (care and protection of children) Act 2015.
